Fyn Neeley, a senior at Aledo High School and our RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) scholarship winner shared his summer experience at camp during our recent meeting. RYLA is an intensive leadership program where future trailblazers can develop their skills, have fun, and make meaningful connections. During camp, Fyn enriched problem-solving skills, discovered strategies for becoming a dynamic leader in his school and community, and learned from community leaders, inspirational speakers, and peer mentors. He truly exemplifies service above self and we’re proud he represented our Club!

We also had the opportunity to listen to Dr. Kella Price, Fitness & Nutrition Coach, as she shared her knowledge in the appreciation of nature and how we can get active and involved in taking care of the Earth. Additionally, she addressed her fitness challenges and experience while cycling across Iowa this past July during RAGBRAI. She also shared information on her upcoming program project, “We Clean Trails,” and how we can get involved. More information will soon follow in how YOU can get involved as well.

Want to hear more dynamic speakers? Come to our next meeting on 3 October, 12pm, at Sunny Street Café - Willow Park. We have a seat saved for you!
